Shape craft

My little girl (25 months) seems to struggle with colours but has grasped shapes. When walking in the street she notices shapes everywhere (and tells me about it!)

Here are some of the shape crafts we have done involving circles and squares

The square caterpillar (obviously this can be done with any shape)
Also really good for developing fine motor skills
This square picture was produced by masking of the paper with masking tape and using textured sponges (tip...which I didn't do....make the tape less sticky by first sticking it to the carport, means it comes off the paper far more easily
Circles

The first piece of art was much more fun to reduce then the way it looks.
We used a ball pit ball and point and produced a circle and rolling picture

Mr circle man (again can be done with any shape)
Just have fun with your child producing this creation

And triangles

This boat is loosely a triangle! Think the decorating of the clay was the bit my daughter liked best.
